    So it'll be $25+fee and 10 days.
Didn't realize that you could do it so soon. That's good to know.

    Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

I have not done it, but I am not aware of any minimum time that a pawn loan has to be in place.

I'll check with a buddy of mine who runs a shop.

Now that they seem to be getting caught up, it's something we might see.

Currently, modifications are only done at the time of renewal... been that way since mid-2015.
They used to allow one modification and suggested that it be near the 1-year point.
        AFAIK...
It's still only being done at time of renewal.
There is talk about going back to the previous policy (once per year), after they secure more range facilities (may happen within the next year).

We did a pawn return on Carrie's .25 caliber single shot VP9 Rich. We took out a $50 loan and they asked if we could wait a week out of courtesy just so it didn't look like we were abusing a privilege. Not a requirement, just you know... Time wasn't any issue so yeah no problem. We put the $50 in the gun case and went back a week later and DROS'd her 9mm. Fees were regular DROS and the pawn shop's minimum loan fee, like $6 or something.

2A Zone is a fantastic option for the same thing and normally I would drive there, but in this case it didn't make any sense. FWIW we got the VP9 from 2A Zone.
Buy made in USA whenever possible.

My buddy got back to me, but they don't have an FFL, so he doesn't know the specifics on doing this with a gun, but he said that there is a 24-hour period where any loan may be canceled, so it would seem that if you were to run the return DROS within 24 hours, it may be treated as a cancellation and no DROS.

So I just filled out my online application and clicked submit. It gave me a bunch of interview dates to choose from starting with March 2018. Anyone else getting their appt set this far out?

I live in Rancho Cucamonga if it makes a difference. I thought people who lived in this city were getting faster appointments.

This member was originally given a date eight months out but got lucky and had his interview moved up. I believe he also lives in Rancho Cucamonga.

You can send an email.to the sheriff's deputies in Rancho Cucamonga directly.

I reside in Ontario, CA. I am aware Ontario PD issues CCWs; however, I gave San Bernardino Sheriffs a call and they informed me I can apply with them if I live in Ontario. I asked again if I don't have to apply through Ontario PD and she said no I can apply through SBSD. Is that information correct? I don't want to waste my time with them only to be told by someone else that I have to go through Ontario PD first.

You no longer have to apply to your local PD first.
I don't recall when that changed but it was sometime ago.

I found out late in the game that Ontario PD issued. Their website makes it look like they require more than SD as good cause.

Though it would be interesting to see what you get told if you go that route.

I'd be discouraged too! Their explanation sounds just like Los Angeles.

It was shortly after McMahon took the helm and began streamlining the process.
No need for a denial from your local PD, no need for personal references.

What is with certain cities like Upland not allowing them though? Did I misread something regarding that city? I thought it was a county thing.
