Anyone care to share the type of target you shoot at for range qualification? Is it a silhouette or a round bullseye? I swear I read about there being an NRA number assigned to the target but I can't find it.

10 rounds, with 8 needing to hit target?

5 yards, 5 shots, reload, 5 shots, clear and show safe, no time limit (within reason).
8 of 10 required to pass, 3 chances are allowed (hence the need to take 30 rounds per gun, hopefully you only need 10)

I normally recommend that you change targets when they look like this:



But they don't change targets when you're qualifying. If you're one of the first ones to qualify you have a pretty good target to shoot at. If you're one of the last ones you're target will look like that one but with even more holes.

yes they have to be in the original caliber though like you cant have a gen4 glock converted from 40 to 9mm ie. or an lc380 converted to 9mm.
