Ok, I am going to apply since I just got my AZ ccw permit.

The thing is, I want my 3 guns to be

S&W Bodyguard 380 w/safety
S&W Shield 9 w/safety
S&W M&P45c w/ safety

The thing is BG380 and M&P45c were both done through SSE. SBCo does not like SSE guns correct?

If so, I need to do a caliber correction.

My question is, can I submit my app now and while I wait for their response, get the caliber corrections done or should I do my caliber corrections FIRST, then submit my app? This would make my process longer.

Submit your app and then do caliber correction.

Yes. You don't need to have them until your range date. In my case I only had one and purchased two more through the process.

They stopped the ability to add firearms onto the permits once you get them. So those 3 guns are the ones you have for 2 years, so pick wisely!

Also my driving record, credit and employment history aren't so great. Will this hinder me from getting the CCW ?

Double check your valid to and from dates. You may not be valid till Saturday.

It likely has an earlier valid date from the actual date of issue. My buddy's was valid on 7/1, but he didn't get the call until 7/7.

How bad of a driving record, credit/employment history are we talking? Honestly, I don't know that those issues would factor in much (...the exception being your driving record; the department does check that, and they will continue to check periodically after the CCW is issued). It's a different type of background check than what peace officers, for example, are subjected to. I'm very familiar with both. You can P/M me with any specific questions.
