The things they ask you about are not things a normal person would ever forget. Just answer the question with the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. Don't even think about trying to parse the question to convince yourself you can be less than fully truthful.

Not an integrity issue. I was just overthinking it. I put down everything I could remember. I have had zero issues.

Thanks for the heads up.
Anyone else here received an email for a CCW renewal?
I recently received my CCW Renewal email from the SBCO SD CCW Unit with detailed instructions, links, and attachments.
For approx timeline reference for receiving the renewal email, I got the email 11+ weeks before mine expires.
You must wait for the CCW Renewal email, before submitting your CCW Renewal paperwork to the SBCO Sheriff Station!
I'm glad I didn't just drop off my renewal paperwork last week. I waited for the email.

Can someone please confirm the money orders needed at the time of INITIAL interview? All 4 of these money order or just the top 2?
Two separate postal money orders (from the Post Office) made payable to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department (SBSD), due at the time of your interview.
(1) Fingerprinting - $119.00 (postal money order only)
(2) 20% of the administrative / background fees - $31.60 (postal money order only)
NOTICE: NEW TRAINING REQUIREMENT
Per Penal Code section 26165, it is now a DOJ requirement that CCW permit applicants attend a specified course of training prior to the issuance of a new or renewal permit. Courses are provided through the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department at the following costs:
NEW CCW applicant:
SBSD Range - $112.00 (money order payable to SBSD)
Final fee - $126.40, the remaining 80% of the administrative background fee
Upon successful completion of the CCW background process, you will receive notification regarding your range/safety class date.
Interview = two money orders ($119.00 and $31.60)
Range class = one money order ($112.00)
Pick up CCW = one money order ($126.40)sigpic

Update: finally received my permit, 3 weeks later ...the issue date predates the course date (Aug 21st) by a few days. It seems a bit strange that the permit would have an issue date that predates the mandatory 8hr course.Last edited by Heckler&Coke; 09-11-2021, 7:45 PM.Comment

Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

Make sure you triple check all of your paperwork. A simple miss put me out two more months according to the detective, who was extremely helpful btw. I printed out a bill with a balance without realizing it. I had already paid the bill. Oh well, back of the line it is.
