Does anyone know if you're supposed to receive any further contact after the phone call for the range day - like a confirmation e-mail or anything?
I got the call in August for the 19th of this month (October).

Nope. Just be there with bells on. Be early and make sure you have lunch with you. Keep all of your guns locked in your car until told to get them.

Sending reminders takes time. Staff would rather spend time processing apps then reminding adults of what should be important to them things.

Quick search of their website didn't show anything. If they're issuing they're doing it on the down low.

Two questions about range qualification and RDS.

1) From previous posts I’ve read, using an RDS seems to have been hit or miss depending on the officer, is this still the case?

2) I didn’t want to have my original slide milled, so I bought another OEM Glock slide for the RDS. The barrel and frame share the same serial#s, however, the slide does not. Has anyone tried this and were there any issues?

Hello everyone, i was lucky to get my interview scheduled two weeks from now!
I have a few questions, hope someone in this forum can help me out as im trying to gather and have everything ready.

1. Should i fill out all the forms that are posted online including the pre-backgrou d interview form?

2. I recently moved to a different address. same county (san bernardino) and same city. I updated my address online using the dmv website. Will this be an issue as my DL will be showing my old address?

Print out and take with you. Make duplicate of the paperwork you're using for your proof of residency.

As for your license. I've seen people say to go to the DMV and get a print out of your records. This will be proof that you changed your address with them.

You're probably thinking, yeah but I printed it out when I did it online. But do you have that fancy watermark paper they use at the DMV?

Got it, i will make sure i print all the forms.

I guess i will have to make a trip over to the DMV, would hate to reschedule because of it..
