    Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

Is there anyone who interviewed back in January or February (pre covid lockdown) that has been updated or contacted?

Hey guys! I'm a press photographer and I do a lot of work in and around LA/Hollywood area. I've live in Chino and commute into LA.

I've had a few close calls with homeless/transients approaching me aggressively knowing I have expensive camera gear on me. In fact, several photographers has been held up for their equipment in the past.

Question is, would this be sufficient 'good cause' to get a CCW?

        Thanks in advance.

It sure is. Just articulate it in a 3 or 4 sentence paragraph and you're good to go. SB isn't looking for a reason to deny you if you are a law abiding citizen. They want you to have a permit.

I think they may consider that a request for work purposes and they don't issue for that

He doesn't need the permit for work, he just works in an area that is unsavory and commutes that way. Totally different.

I know, just saying it could go into grey area depending on how it's phrased

Precisely. I have to be in some rough neighborhoods in DTLA and I feel helpless not having protection on me.

Yea it could I guess. Honestly I just put that i woild like it for self defense because of the current releasing of violent criminals onto the street and the no bail laws. They were coaching the guy next to me because they thought his was thin. They really do want you to get it.

I guess now a days you could say that criminals are being released and the current geo political climate of dedundimg the police.

                        Great points!

Also, do I need to own the actual CCW firearm before I apply?
