You've had your CCW for many years you should have known not to wait and in normal circumstances they send notices well in advance.

Yes, fully agreed. And over 20 years. I emailed 30 days after the normal time I receive notice. I was told by SO staff (in writing) when I would receive notice. That didn’t happen.

But I still take responsibility. Not blaming anyone except me. I dropped my guard and forgot rule number x, never trust anyone.

You should get a email about 90 days out with the links. That is of course IF the CCW team has your email address.

Did you change email address and have you checked your junk and spam folders?

My renewal notice came via email in early January for an April renewal date. Video, range at West End, turn in package and get CCW card in the mail, all in about 4 -5 weeks. No changes on my part. Permit arrived about 3-4 weeks before expiration, so had to set a reminder to swap the cards.

Easy and efficient. We are fortunate to have a great Sheriff and great CCW support staff.

Thank you, and no, no email address change; and yes they have my email. Did I delete it out of the spam box; maybe but doubtful, although I'm usually checking email at 3:00 am, so it could happen

The the three videos referenced in the online instructions; are those the same 3 that are posted on the SO renewal web page?

Thank you again for your help!

                              Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.
