Had my interview yesterday morning... They stressed that the permit would not cover carrying at work (surprised), and that I was responsible for knowing all laws at all times (figured as much)... The one problem I had is that the fingerprint scanning machine had an issue, and they said I may have to go in a second time to have them rescanned...

Are you sure they said "at" work and not "for" work?

I have my interview on July 8th. I'm sure it's been covered in the thread but can anyone tell me acceptable good cause for San Bernadino? My last CCW was in orange county. This is my first time in SB.

Recently moved and I've been waiting for all this COVID nonsense to apply. Can someone explain the proof of employment to me? I'm currently furloughed from work and not sure of a return to work date. Would this be a bad time to apply? I do have managers and HR people still at work, but with everything going on, they may have bigger fish to fry than filling out paperwork for my CCW.

Also, my DL shows my last residence, and I wasn't planning to get a new one until 2021 when my current one expires; will this be a problem? I can prove my current residency in SB by utility bill, deed etc. I apologize if these have been covered ad nauseum, I looked through as many pages as my brain could handle before I decided to ask.

Your DL address with DMV needs to reflect your current address. Have you done a change of address with DMV?

I changed my address with the DMV when I moved. My new car registration reflects my new address. The DMV website told me to write the new address on the back of the license, or on a separate piece of paper and sign.

Any idea about the employment? How deeply will they delve? Last thing I want is to have it get held up and lost in the shuffle because of this.
