I got my interview next week, anything idea of what the interview consists of? Not really sure what to expect at all aside from verification that all my paperwork is correct.

Be ready to further explain your good cause statement.
There is another form to fill out... be honest with answers...(I smoked pot in high school)

Remember... they want good citizens to have success in this process... but they might be a little tired!!

Thanks for the information. To be honest, it's been so long since I filled out the initial paperwork, I'm unsure if I put my good cause in the initial application. Is that part of the initial application, or will that be part of the other form I will be filling out?

I strongly suggest you need to sit down with your application and read it.
You should remember everything you submitted on it!

Way ahead of you. I submitted the initial paperwork sometime in the middle of 2019, and embarrassingly enough, I am foggy on the details. Although nothing about the information has changed except the good cause. Quite the events happening in my city, not so much hard and fast details about my life and personal information and what have you

If your good cause isn't good enough, the interviewer will probably help you get it to where it is. This is San Bernardino, they are looking for reasons to approve you, not deny you.

Just got a call today from Sarah as well.. my original range date was scheduled for March. I go in next wed 8/19 for the class portion. Glad to see things are moving along now.

Had my "interview" today. Went perfectly fine. I guess it really is what everybody said on this thread, it's really just a verification of documents and a verification of good cause being sufficient.

Completed my documents, took my picture, completed fingerprinting, and I was on my way.
