We have to stop posting about how things should be in LA county and how it shouldn't take this long and what not. Posts like that don't contribute anything to this forum and don't help others. We have to do the steps we are asked if we want to get a CCW. Complaining or saying it should take this long does nothing to contribute to this forum

I agree! Everyone has their own opinion. Let's not get greedy and be greatful that we have a chance for a ccw in LA county ........ There has been so much progress.

I had emailed my signed firearms proficiency and course completion form on the July 8th and hadn’t seen the email saying they received them. Since I noticed everyone got the confirmation email of receipt of the forms the next day I sent it again this morning. I did get that email this afternoon. So now the 2-4week wait for the call to pick up my permit.

Well yeah, because some people can fail their training or something may happen in those few weeks to disqualify them.

I have, if its your first time using the FFL03 to purchase make sure they mark exempt from 1 in 30 on the form so you can purchase more than 1 firearm in a month.
