So, I'm still waiting for first contact on my March 1 re-application (obviously) and given the massive 4–6-month delays in livescan returns I decided to go ahead and do it this week thinking that it would complete around the time I will receive a call for interview. CA and FBI completed same day, as usual... and firearms cleared the following day lol.02.28.22 - Application mailed
07.13.22 - Live Scan complete
11.03.22 - Interview
01.14.23 - Proceed to training authorization
01.21.23 - Cert submitted
01.23.23 - Acknowledged receipt
03.12.23 - Call to schedule pickup
04.07.23 - Permit issuedComment

Got some news for those who were denied prior to the Supreme Court Ruling for insufficient good cause.
I spoke to someone directly in the CCW unit and they stated that if you got denied before the Supreme Court came out with the ruling, you still have to wait that one year mark because you were denied before the ruling came out.GC: Yellowish/Light Green

I looked but could not find any state statute or department written policy requiring a one year wait. My march 2022 rejection letter (for insufficient good cause) did not mention the need to wait a year. Does anyone know where that one year wait period came from (other than being informally told so by a CCW staff)?Comment

Because you were denied prior the ruling they didn't violate the ruling. So they stated you have to wait 1 year to reapply still.GC: Yellowish/Light Green

In the denial letter it states "if your circumstances change, you may submit a new application". Circumstances have changed. Realistically, applying now will put you in pace over this "1 year mark" anyways - which I sincerely hope they are not actually trying to stick to.02.28.22 - Application mailed
