Will adding a third gun I own as part of training slow down the permit pickup process at all?

I am trying to pick up before SB 918 gets taken up in Aug 3, and I want to max my chance that I can make it under the wire.

As long as you are in the process and haven't done your training yet, you should be fine.

IF the gun is registered under your name and is legal in the state of CA, there is no issue.

I have, if its your first time using the FFL03 to purchase make sure they mark exempt from 1 in 30 on the form so you can purchase more than 1 firearm in a month.

That has nothing to do with this post my friend. This is for information for ccw's in LA county. You can call a gun store.

Since I don't have a utility bill in my name, I was wondering if my FFL03 can satisfy the proof of residency requirement for CCW. The LASD website lists utility bill or other documents, but does not provide an exhaustive list.

I was hoping someone was in a similar situation and could share what documents, besides a utility bill, would satisfy the LASD POR requirement.

If you have a clean record then you passed. If you have any major tickets, multiple speeding tickets, or any felonies you didnt pass.

Again...the question is not in the scope of purchasing a handgun. It's whether or not the FFL03 will satisfy the proof of residency requirement for CCW. Per the LASD website https://lasd.org/ccw/#ccw_req_docs they specify a utility bill or other documents, but do not provide an exhaustive list.

"Proof of Los Angeles County Residency (utility bill). If you do not have a utility bill, advise your Investigator when you are contacted to discuss additional documents accepted as proof of residency."

Has anyone tried using their FFL03 as proof of residency for CCW? Or can anyone speak to what else is acceptable because they did not have a utility bill in their name?
