My understanding is that it applies to being found guilty or pleading guilty to ANYTHING, including such minor things like "discharging a firearm in public" or disturbing the peace, so you end up being forced to choose between a roll of the dice on the whole charge or pleading guilty to a misdemeanor and losing your protection. What an agonizing choice.

Don't sweat it...yours is just taking longer... remember ...it can take up to 4 weeks...my girlfriend got hers on the 4th week .be patient..

Why is it scary or stressful? You know they are issuing it. They said 2-4 weeks, didn't they? It's been less than 2 weeks. I think you'll probably get the call tomorrow and pick up Thursday. I would call in sick if you have to on Thursday to pick up the first day they will let you pick up. Just take it easy. You've been waiting this long. It's just another day or two or three.

If it helps anyone, I also got acknowledgement of the receipt of my training certificate on 5/3 and have not yet received a pick up call.

It would help if you had a timeline. Did you just randomly do the training and sent it in or did they tell you do proceed? Usually if you are told to proceed it takes 2-4 weeks to pickup.

Many of us waited four weeks after training certification sent in before getting the call, so guys, stop getting your panties in a bunch at 2 weeks. This whole process should have taught you patience.

I was told to proceed to training in mid April and submitted my paperwork in late April. I started the whole process in April of last year
