    Seems like most of the calls have been on Tuesday and pickup on Wednesday. They called me on a Tuesday (around 3pm) for Thursday pickup tho. There were 4 people waiting there when I got there but they called me first. I guess they were just early for the appointment lol.
    That said, expect a call tomorrow or maybe even today lol

        Timeline update: I got the call today to pickup on Wednesday. That's a little less than 11 months from application to issuance. It's definitely worth the effort and the wait, but jeez...those 6 months without hearing anything were rough. Cheers to everyone else that got the call this week, and good luck to those still waiting.

                        On an unrelated note- I sent in an application for an AZ ccw about a month ago with my lasd training certificate- anyone know the timeline for the az permits?

                                    That's four in a row in one day... Congratulations...the Arizona takes about 2 months ..they are a little back logged...if you can apply for Utah too..

                                            I was told by my CCW instructor that the one thing that is different about an LA County CCW vs every other county in California is that standard capacity magazines (meaning greater than 10 rounds) is actually permitted for LA County CCW holders, even though California does not permit them. Weird and makes no sense but he swears that is an LA specific allowance. Can anyone confirm this?

                                                        If you obtain them legally, you can use them. Several other counties also allow standard capacity mags. Not just LA.
