DL

Utility bill said registration is okay
Paycheck stubs
Recent employment valuation
Work ID card.

I will bring copies plus the originals, but copies was underlined and highlighted. Wonder if it varies from investigator to investigator?

This should be good, my employer doesn't do evaluations, they are in Texas, they just can you if your not performing, and I haven't been to the office ever, I work remotely from Cali, so I don't have an ID Card either, but I do have an ID Card for a Company we sub for. I wonder if they will just call and verify and look at my paystubs.

It's taking roughly 3 weeks for every 1 week of applications.

So you're about 6-8 weeks out.

Going to do my training next Saturday via concealed coalition at FT3 tactical. I know I'm taking a risk, but **** it. Saving the time when they are clearly backlogged on their end is worth the risk. This way when they do email me to do the training, I can immediately just reply with the completed certificate and keep things rolling without delay on my end.

Of course, if I end up denied it would suck to be out the $175, but its not the end of the world. I'd be more upset about being denied than about the money.

By the way, you should all be aware that it was surprisingly hard to find a class for this month. Someone recommended Orville Wright's class. I called him, but he said the earliest class he still had availability for was in late July, and soon it would be into August. A few others were similarly booked up. Many others only offered classes on weekdays, which is a no-go for me due to work.

Oh and btw, during your interview they will ask marijuana use. I personally don't smoke but I know many do. Be prepared to be asked this - they will ask when was the last time you had used marijuana. Was casually told this answer will NOT affect their decision, just a formality to ask as part of their question sheet. I don't know if that is true or not but I suggest being honest.

I'd also be careful assuming it won't affect their decision. At minimum, be careful with the timeline. If you tell them you smoked three years ago or something and they see you bought guns around the same time, it means you lied on the 4473.

I was in the same boat as you. I run the company and the owner isn't big on paperwork. I emailed the deputy with the offer of having the owner write a letter of recommendation. He said fine. A business card will work for company ID.
