Just gonna leave this here -

Via ScotusBlog:Just in: Thursday will be the Supreme Court's next opinion day. The court expects to issue one or more decisions in argued cases.

The 28th is definitely marked as another opinion day on the calendar: https://www.supremecourt.gov/

      Fingers crossed!

Congrats to all the new permit holders and people picking up this week!

After almost a week of having a permit and carrying out in public. One piece of advice I have to people going through the process is to find a setup (holster and belt) that you like right now. While you are waiting carry at home as much as you can to get comfortable with having a firearm on you. Since it took over a year to get my permit I have had been carrying at home for about 11 months or so. I feel very comfortable going out and about because having the firearm on me feels normal now.

I've had some convos with friends and people I've met in classes about this and I really think carrying at home helps a lot.

I can confirm that that is incorrect for San Diego. They do not restrict mag capacity.

Ventura allows them too if legally owned and obtained.

Legally possessed or not .... I wouldn't do that. In court, they will use everything against you. Ideally you really just need a few rounds to protect yourself in that sort of sitaution.

                      OC allows them as well.

SBSD does not (San Berdo, unsure of Santa Barbara).

I agree, but they will use anything against you. Even if you have an American flag phone cover.

LOL, you're def not subscribed to ASP are you? I doubt anything would be "ideal" in that type of situation.

                                Posting again because no responses

Good to hear so many pickup calls are going out!

I’ve got a question for some of the more seasoned CCW guys… I find myself in a bit of a dilemma as I leave somewhere around May 10th or 11th to go work out of the state until November. I will be unavailable to come back for lisence pickup if approved after I leave town because they only issue on weekdays. I tried explaining this to my interviewing deputy but I’m not sure if I properly explained myself. I’ve made it a point to not send a single email or any sort of correspondence to them this entire process as to not irritate them.

Should I send an email noting these points? Just give them a brief reminder?
