Lieutenant called 11/16 to discuss GC, helped revise it to employment related. Asked if completed the requested Live Scan, which I affirmed. CCW unit likely confirmed Live Scan in the file, since the email authorizing training came the next day, 11/17. They did not need my ATI.
I trained 10/2 with MedicUp, an outstanding experience. Decided to proceed with this higher level training including “stop the bleed” early since I serve on my church’s medical safety team and participate in shooting competitions in remote places. The training with tourniquets and wound packing would be useful whether CCW issued or not.
Training documents emailed 11/18. Did not receive acknowledgment of receipt.Is it usual or not to expect a receipt?

Not sure if anybody's mentioned this before, but everyone who has picked up their permits should look into the USCCA. They basically provide insurance for you in situations where you have to defend yourself, i.e lawyer fees, etc.
Not getting paid to advertise this, just looking out. I'd much rather pay $29 a month and having peace of mind instead of having to pull a loan on my house to get a lawyer god forbid I ever need to defend myself using my firearm..Comment
