I did not think it would be 2022 and I still would not have a response post interview. Approaching seven months since the interview and live scan.

I hope the new loaned staff will be tackling this backlog of the "maybe pile."

2068 issued, 261 pending as of 01/05/2022.

That means 207 issued since his last update a month ago. Comes out to about 51 issued a week.

Also stated some staff is on loan to try and clear the backlog.

So are the 261 "pending" the ready-to-issue ones they say are in the "hopper" so to speak?

I'd just like to know because it helps me understand the process better. Undersrnading things better is key reason people join forums! Your student example really does not relate. You may be right that it "probably" means the LT has to review but what is wrong with knowing exactly what it means? Answer is there's nothing wrong with knowing.
