App. sent USPS Priority Mail was received by LACS 7/8/22

Phone Interview with Deputy 12/15/23

Live Scan submitted 12/15/23

Identifying Documents submitted via email 12/15/23

Supplemental Identifying Document requested and submitted via email 2/21/24

PTT email received 2/21/24

CA DOJ approved CCW Class /Qualification completed and docs submitted via email 3/15/24

Received call to pick up CCW on 7/5/24

Im assuming you applied with LAPD not LASD? Because majority of us here in this LASD thread received interviews over the phone, not in person. Might want to check over the LAPD thread.

I also just called. I told them that many who were in line after me got their pick up calls, and if I missed mine. She said they have not yet called but went ahead and gave me the pickup date on the spot. Also July 17.

Maybe they changed it up again. In the past it was in person, then it went to phone interview. Maybe they are switching back with the new system in place.

I think they did phone interviews only if they found nothing questionable in your past. Otherwise in person.

Damn okay. Maybe like others said they are switching back because of the new system or probably something questionable.

My app I had tried to put in all of what I can remember even one event that happened back in 2015 which was all bad, just ugly on my record in general. I was still able to get an interview over the phone. It was a long interview and more questioned asked from the deputy as well as summarized statements, but it went pretty smooth after that.

Just a fyi...when i picked up the application the officer told me he heard many interviews were being done in Chatsworth and I read some people had to drive to outer mongolia for theirs ...but im hoping your initial answer is correct

You picked up an application? Like an actual paper application?
As of right now apps are being done online unless you printed out and mailed a paper application from the LASD website before all these changes happened post Bruen. When did you apply or submit your application?
