I've been on here for a while but never thought to check in and say "hello" in this specific thread. Glad to see I'm not the only one waiting for what feels like forever. I'm coming up on 2 years in a few days. Here's my current timeline:

? 7/21/22 - APPLICATION DELIVERED
? 4/02/24 - CCW UNIT INTERVIEW/DOCUMENT REQUEST; DOCUMENTS SENT; LIVESCAN COMPELTED
? 6/30/24 - TRAINING AUTHORIZATION EMAIL RECEIVED
? 7/04/24 - CCW CLASS SCHEDULED

Judging by the time things are processed, I will probably enjoy the LASD permit for a couple of months before I end up moving into Riverside county. This long wait is brutal especially for falling in the timeline of more than 2 years now.

technically, but I gifted it to him in a interfamilial transfer, and on the form said it was semi auto, so it should have been updated in the system as being semi auto and not single shot

Best guess is because of the SSE designation despite transferring it as semi-auto.

Not to be a Debbie Downer but it's going to be at least another 5 months before you hear anything unless they hire more people too process applications.
