Had a change in my communications utility. Went from Verizon to Frontier and sent an email to the department last week on 7/4/24 about the change and if they needed me to submit documents of new statements, received a reply via email earlier this afternoon 7/7/24 5:32PM... "That is not necessary, thank you."...

Welp it finally happened for me. I got a call this am from a blocked number to schedule my pick up . 2 years and 2 weeks from start to finish.

Another example that LASD does NOT process in the order things come to them. There are plenty of guys who submitted training a week or two before this and still havent received a call to schedule pickup.

Think of this from a logistical point. How would a department of only a few people handle 5 thousand applications flooding in within a month of the Bruen? One giant filing cabinet? No. They probably had to get organized in some form. I would use cardboard bankers boxes. Every day when you get a pickup truck bed full of applications, you put that days haul into a dozen or bankers boxes. Maybe they get labeled by what day they came in, or week, probably not. They probaly get stacked in a room full of hundreds of boxes. When its time for an officer to go through them, they get handed a box. When they are done with that one in a week or whatever, they go grab another one. No way to keep them in perfect chronological order that they arrived in. I can see how some people are getting processed weeks or months before other people.

Being that 7/10/24 hasn't occurred yet, is the date for your call to pickup a typo?
