    The gun is...my Marlin 1894c made in 2017-18. I know, a ****** Remlin.

It's just such a good shooter, smooth action, beautiful furniture ( really like the dark walnut ) its easy to work on, clean and price was great.

I know, they made so many duds during the Remlin years. I held a few of them and couldn't believe that they pass any kind of inspection.

Know that rifle well! One hellava shooter that one is. If you're going to pick a favorite, you done good!

Got to love 22 short. I buy it when ever I can
I'd love to. My only rimfire lever is a Win 9422M but I have a stockpile of ammo for it. While not a lever, I also have an older Taurus pump copy of the Win 62.

Of course, I have the other levers and SA revolvers.

Chris - I did not get the picture of the .22 short and the dollar bill.

      Thanks,
      Rick

Rick, we had a ball shooting the rimfires Wed and I dare say the shorts stole the show with the rimfires. With the bigger bores, Chris was on it with his .45-70! Mark couldn't miss with his Marlin .357 and me, well, sort of scattering rounds all over this venture. Had a hoot tho!

Tom, if you're talking about the loads *I* was shootin' from the Ruger Convertible, they were a 200 grain lead round-nose flat-point over 9 grains Unique in Starline .45 Colt brass, large pistol standard primers.

Zippy! although the next batch of any handloads I might make in .45 Colt will use a 250 grain coated from the maker of the slugs you were using that left your bore so nice.
Chris, cleaning the Pietta today and it took a whopping 4 patches to come out clean. Powder residue and it was done. Likin' those bullets! I'll be getting more of those.

Tom, what was the name of that place in Oregon? I forgot 10 minutes before you told me. My ADD is in full swing these days
It takes a lot of balls to play golf the way I do.

I lucked out with that one. Not so lucky with the Henry. I know they will fix it.
I don't want to send Cole out there hunting with a gun that don't shoot straight.

+ free shipping beats Missouri bullets for anything less then 1k. I really like the brown/black hi-tek coating color they use.

I need more bullets like I need another hole in my head. I'm not going to let that stop me.
