So...
Back in late-June, I submitted an Automated Firearms System (AFS) Request for Firearms Records (BOF 053).
I received a reply yesterday (10-27-15), which was dated 10-22-15.
It listed all the firearms that were "registered" to me and I noticed...
1. The handgun with the "different" serial number was missing a single digit (serial number 030XX was listed as 30XX).
2. Another handgun was listed with the wrong model number (H&K P7M8 was listed as H&K P7M9).
3. Another handgun is listed with a "different" serial number (serial number XXXXXXUS listed as XXXXXX).
4. Handgun I acquired via PPT in 1996 is not listed.
on CA DOJ's "accurate" database.
