I had to do this because the house is in my gf's name. I just typed up a letter stating that we've lived together since whenever, and that I'm responsible for half of the bills or some such. Stopped by a mailbox place that has a notary and had it notarized, it was a non-issue at the interview.

      Good Luck!

Word of advise for when you pick up your CCW. Make sure to check info on the card thoroughly before leaving. They had made a mistake on my name and DOB. They quickly apologized and printed me a new card within 5 minutes.

                Congrats!

You must be proud (and glad she can more effectively protect herself out in public).

I, too, just got a call from Detective Logan. My range date is April 4 at AVGC. So I'll see you there, Baptizer. WooHoo!

I am just patiently waiting to receive word on my background check. I have not received any letters or calls, since my December 29th interview.

JTC3495, don't you worry they will call you if your papers are good to go. My interview date was 11/12/2014, and they just called me today 3/4/2015, so be pt, it's worth it.

For those who went to Apple Valley Gun Club to do their range date, Is it really 8-5 or they send you home early once everything's done. And do I need to bring any holsters or just the eyes, ears (protection), handguns and ammo? Thank you.

The course at AVGC gets done between 4:30 and 5. You don't need a holster.

For those of you that recently just did the qualification, what ranges did you have to shoot at? I've heard mixed things like 6, reload, 6 and you have to do that from 3, 5 and 10 yards.

I've also been told you have to shoot left handed and right handed. Just looking for some clarification on this so I can train for things I wouldn't normally train for. Thanks!

P.s. - I have my interview appointment on May 21st. Hoping and praying I pass the interview.
