I laugh every time I hear this. Used to be Cashiers Check or PO Money Order. But the dropped Cashiers Checks. Obviously because there was a problem.

I have a hard time picturing the guy who used a forged Cashiers Check to apply for his CCW. But obviously someone must have.

5/4 - Passed Background
6/11 - Class & Range, Devore
6/21 - Picked up permit

Cool, based on that time line I could have a very nice Christmas present.

You don't buy the first ones until the week of your interview and you don't buy the last ones until just before class, so you're going to be easily within 30-90 days.

But with their workload, I can see them maybe not getting them all deposited in a timely manner.

I used Wells Fargo cashier's checks for all of mine (including AZ and FL)

I got a call for range day last week and she didn't mention a post office money order. She just said a money order....

On the notary form what have you guys been putting? I would think it would need something in that space before they'd sign it?

Your talking about the position blank space correct? If so I put CCW permit holder, interviewing deputy said it was good

Just did my interview this morning. Concerning the recent case decision, the officer might ask if you live in a "high crime" area. Just agree as he nods yes. They can't just put self defense/personal protection anymore. There was also a sign posted at the front desk saying postal money orders only with the closest PO address right below it. They said they were working on getting the info updated on the site as there are still areas that show 29.20 instead of 30.60 for the MO.
