I submitted my application yesterday and got an interview date in late August. My wife did hers Monday and there were no dates available. She got an email the next day and was able to choose a date in early April.

Well that makes sense, you'd think if there was cancellations they'd ask the next person on the list by app date.

I called on day 92 (Nov 13) and was told that I had cleared background but my application was being circulated for the needed signatures.

Quite liberating out with the wife today.

Gotta' get her to shut up though. Apparently she didn't realize I was carrying (she saw me before I put my shirt on, but apparently thought I took it off before heading downstairs).
So like the 3rd stop of the day was Carl's to get drinks. She noticed the floorplate on the spare mag when I pulled the car keys and, right in the middle of the parking lot (with two teenage girls about 20ft behind her) YOU HAVE YOUR GUN?

Ya, my mistake for not letting her know.
I assumed she knew because she watched me put my shirt on.

I submitted my application today, when I got to the interview schedule and chose a date (which is not until August) I got an error and when I hit the back button it said my ssn is already in the system. Anyone else have this problem?

I had the same problem. Did you get it fixed? I can't resubmit because it's in the system already it says Anyone know how to fix that?

Call them. It's been mentioned countless times about how helpful and willing the CCW staff are, most especially Sarah. She will answer yours questions. She's non-sworn and is extremely professional and helpful.

I was wanting to know the same. I was going to wait a week until I Hopefully receive their email.

Yes it has been mentioned a few pages back.

I called the next day was told a email would be sent in 2 weeks.

2 weeks came and went.

So I called again they said to go start over that the system lost my application!

So as im sitting there cussing about to start over I get a email with a link to access dates. Boom done!

So call and let them know and see what happens.

So who knows of a decent and reasonably priced shop in the IE (south side of the hill) where I could walk in with a Shield (yes, with the red loctite) and have a set of sights swapped out without a huge wait?

I need to head back to the SD early Friday. I know Dave's is around the corner, bought my XD there, but I've never looked into any work.

About what does something like that cost?

Most have been getting calls or emails moving the dates up after someone reviews what came in over the night/weekend.
