It appears the renewal process is working better using the new system. Is there any movement on new CCW's using the new system?

Not that I have heard, my appointment was 1/26, and no word on when I can expect to get an approval email from SCSO.

Today marks 15 weeks, guess there is nothing to do but sit here and wait.

Did my interview and live scan in Jan of 17. No word yet for either.

I just had my interview on May 3rd. The person doing the interview said I should have an answer in 8 weeks. She also suggested I go ahead and do my LiveScan now, which I did the very next day.

I did my livescan on 2/24. I checked the status using the automated phone system yesterday and it was still "in process".

Appointment 1/24 and I got the approval email today

To update my post from earlier, picked up my renewal today. Really fast turn around on my permit, not sure if i was just lucky or they are getting faster with renewal's.

For the people getting new permits, hang in there... We all had to go thru a waiting period to get the initial permit.

i did live scan in Feb

today i received approve email. and asking me to submit training and new residency proof.

do i start the training now or wait until my livescan is cleared?
