I did my Live Scan a month and a half ago. I called the number from this link and it said that my ATI number and date of birth are confirmed, but that there is "no status" in the system. That doesn't sound good! Has anybody successfully retrieved a Live Scan status from the automated system for a recent Live Scan, such as April?

I get "still in process". I have been checking monthly since I did it in February and it has said the same thing every time.

The automated system is crap never updated.. dont rely on it just be patient and they will email you when it comes back.. when I didmine last year it was taking anywhere from 90 to 120 days for livescan to come back. Now its probably longer just saying be patient..

Just a thought, they may be going by application date for new CCW"s. My application date was Dec. 20th, interview Jan 31st and approval was May 12th.

Good point, below is my timeline.

App date: 1/1/17
Interview: 1/26/17
Approval: 5/12/17

Yeah, my application date was December 22nd and interview was Jan. 23rd. Still nothing. I'm hoping mine wasn't screwed up.

A friend said that I need a Livescan AND a background check..... isn't the Livescan a background check already?

Also, since approval of CCW on May 11, is there a deadline to get training done?

I got my livescan back in Jan I had 180 days from time of live scan ....

How did they contact you? I dont recall giving an emaik to them and atm im not even sure if the new system will notify me of livescan completion

The sac sherif will email you giving you the all ear to take training and set up issuance apt .

When you schedule your first interview , you had to sign in and add an email address in order to schedule that appointment. That's how they got your email address.
