That's what I would think is logical. Should really ask my trainer though before dumping a bunch on new ccw guns to add on.My God, even the Conservatives are liberal in the messed up StateComment

Please read more carefully. It states:Since you already have qualifications on the guns you're keeping, and not on the adds, it seems reasonable that you would only have to submit qualifications for the add. yes?Range Qualifications: You must qualify biennially (every two years) or upon renewal of your permit with the firearms listed on your permit. If you want to add or remove firearms from your permit, a qualification is required on each firearm you want listed on the permit.Comment

I spoke with "Buy, Sell, Trade It All" Pawn on Stockton Blvd. They don't see enough money in the deal to make it worthwhile.A post in this thread says Eagle Loan in Roseville will, but I can't vouch for them personally. http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s....php?t=1283093Comment

I saw a post from 2A Zone in Rancho Cucamonga saying they got the license to do it.
I don't know precisely what license it was, but I wonder if a dedicated gun store in Sac might be able to do the same? The Gun Range in North Highlands seems to be a solid operation, if anyone knows the owner.Comment

I read it and it is still not clear if the original qual hold or if you do all again. Not trying to be stubborn. Imo, the language leaves room for interpretation hence my query. The consensus seems to interpret it as being only the new weapons.
Thanks for your responses. My God, even the Conservatives are liberal in the messed up StateComment

I think that may have been a secondary license for consignment sales. As I understand it, the gun has to remain with the dealer for at least 30 days plus the 10-day DROS.I saw a post from 2A Zone in Rancho Cucamonga saying they got the license to do it.

I checked today with Baysavers Gold & Silver Coins (as they came up as a pawn shop in Fair Oaks, CA per a google search). When I went in, they said they would buy guns, but not pawn them. So they weren't any help.A post in this thread says Eagle Loan in Roseville will, but I can't vouch for them personally. http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s....php?t=1283093
I then went to Orangevale Jewelry & Loan, but they said they no longer deal with firearms. However they did say that there was a Roseville pawn place that would do this. So I'll have to check with Eagle Loan when I have some free time next week. I just wanted to post this to save others some time.
Oh the guy at OV also said there was a place around Fruitridge and 99 in Sac. that would probably do it too, but I'm not going to venture out there unless Roseville doesn't work out.Comment

That sounds like it's probably Capitol City Loan & Jewelry, right across the street from River City Gun Exchange. 24th & Fruitridge, NW corner (RCGE is SW corner).

I talked to Eagle earlier this week, they are good to go. But 20 day wait till dros for total of 30 days. Some of the So Cal folks were having holds < 48 hrs till DROS.
If we can confirm they are going to allow modifications again, Just do an Oplaw transfer. Gun never leaves the house. Provided your partner has their HSC.Last edited by Erichp; 12-23-2016, 9:50 PM.Comment
