I did livescan on Howe Ave went at 9 am ... I was the only one there ... took me no time and was done ... now I have to wait 3 more months I have 1 in the books ... mabey next month I will take the class and qualify ...

Potentially.

What confuses people is that they hear a magic number over and over and they think that is the end all date. When I started the process it was 65 days. Than it started averaging around 80 or so days, than 90 days. They are warning folks that livescan is taking 120 plus days now. Recently a friend was at Howe and was told some folks have waited close 180 days already before they got theirs.

It was just a little over a year ago when you could pick up modification appointments at will on almost a moments notice. Now they warn you that what you put on your permit on initial issue will more than likely be your only chance to add/drop guns until renewal. I picked up a P938 9 months ago and I still can't add it.

In my opinion I think we have a much better chance of the process taking longer than getting shorter. Some counties already have a 12-18 month process.

- 5/18/2016 - Condition approval.
- 5/19/2016 - Live Scan.
- 9/27/2016 - Received Live Scan clearance.
- 11/07/2016 - CCW license in hand.
- 11/08/2016 - First time carry....

Just wondering what's the wait time from initial interview to Conditional approval? I had my initial interview back on 09/14/16. And still have not heard a word. I was told to wait till after 11/14/16 to contact them. Is anyone else having to wait this long?

The board only meets once a month. If they told you to wait till 11/14/16 than they don't expect results before that and you should wait. If you don't have an approval after that call Amber Wong and see if she can help you.

Ok thanks! I'm only worried because the person who interviewed me told me that the board meets once a month and he thinks that their was a board meeting coming up. I will wait till 11/14 and then contact Amber Wong.

I got my approval about a week after my interview if I remember right. But my interview was 1 day before the board met.

Similar timeline for me. Got issuance today, picked up insurance and gtg.
