I had heard a few recently successfully submitted and received modifications so I emailed Amber and she said yes, you can submit but they are not a priority and will be handled as time permits. That being said, both modifications I heard of recently took 2 months to process.

I just processed my modification today so the wait begins...

          Fast Renewal

I thought I would put out this info on my recent renewal.

Monday Nov. 27 9 p.m.: Uploaded my info and required documentation.
Tuesday Nov. 28. 10 a.m.: Received email and robot phone call saying card is ready to be picked up.
Tuesday Nov. 28. 11:20 a.m.: Walked into the Hurley office.
Tuesday Nov. 28. 11:25 a.m.: Walked out of Hurley office with my new CCW.

          Now, THAT is service!

Alright Sacramento county CCW holders, now that I have my permit, I have one question - where do you put this thing? It's huge! It won't fit nicely in my wallet...

Ha! Just posted the same question on the Calguns Members Facebook Group.

...This often comes up, and has often been resolved.

Try carefully trimming the corners of the laminate into rounded arcs and removing some of the overlapping laminate. It will fit behind credit cards.

mine hangs out the top of my wallet by about 1/8 an inch. Its all frayed at one end. Figure I get a new one every two years and this one is laminated.

This wallet works - it is a bit wider, but carries just about everything.

                          These have proven popular.

But won't be helpful if you are leaning to the necklace bling:

(Please don't do either of the above. Thanks.)

Agree. Using either of the above would most likely get you locked up for impersonating an officer because a reasonable person could see the badge and believe you represent a police agency. Just my two cents worth.

Impersonation of a cop isn't the problem...using these badges identifes you as a dork.
(This often comes up with the wallet issue --now we will await the posting of the "CCW Sash". {It's always bothered me that the sash never comes with a tiara.})

Big time! But there are those out there that still haven't realized that point. Wannabee's. CCW is no trivial matter. Some young'ins need to learn it. Really shouldn't be one if they don't. JMHO.
