Nice yeah I'm not sure what style I need or want. I'll have to try several out. I wouldn't mine a G43 too so I can get rid of my P380 and consolidate my calibers.

Wallet's that fit the SSD CCW without folding are fairly large. I own a Bellroy and although it's high quality and slim, it wasn't cheap.
Holsters, check Alien Gear. Does the job, cheap, and modular.Comment

Received my DOJ/Livescan clearance e-mail today.
Livescan 3/13/15
Clearance 5/7/15
55 days in all.
Just an FYI for those who still need to schedule training or the final appointment, my letter states I have 6 months from the date of the letter (5/7) to complete the process.Comment

All done.
initial interview: June 9th
clear to get fingerprints: August 28
fingerprints done: Sept 2
notice of clearance from DOJ: March 16
training classes: April
final interview: May 4
Now the weird thing is... when I got there they said that my appt had been cancelled and was pending. They asked if I had contact with law enforcement recently. I said no. This baffled the clerk. He went about the office looking for some kind of information. Came back and said that it had been too long since I had done the finger prints. I said "I have a letter" and that also confused him.
About the office he went. Chatted with a couple of investigators. Moved about the office. Finally he came back and, with an exasperated sound in his voice..."you have your paperwork?"
Yup.
Several minutes later I went into chat with a lady. Very patient.
I am now the proud bearer of a CCW in Sacramento County.
One month shy of a year for the whole process.Remington 700 .308

So my first interviewer ask if I had been in the military, I said," yes" he then went on to say," why did you say no on the question and he changed it, wtf! does he not know what the question is? I served and had a honorable discharge! So the second interviewer was all over this and made me bring in a copy of my dd214 the next day, so I think my approval hold up is that they are waiting for a copy of my dd214 from government records. I ordered a copy 4 weeks ago and got it in two weeks. My wife had her approval on 4/27/15 30 days after interview, I interviewed 2 days before her. We both had carry permits in Tennessee 10 years ago.

Xtor, are you referring to question number 4? If so, then I suggest YOU reread the question. By answering yes you were convicted of a crime while in the military. Big problem for CASO Sacramento.
Your impatience in this thread, constant questions that cannot be answered here, the general why why why of your posts leads me to wonder while you may be legally allowed to carry concealed, do you have the right temperament for the permit.
This is not intended to insult you, hopefully this will give you pause to reflect, search your soul and make sure this great responsibility is truly right for you.Primum Non Nocere

Well, we're on Day 55. Nothing for me--I'm assuming nothing came for you either?
I went back and looked at all the recent Livescan timelines. They had been 60+ days for a while, but the last two were 55 days. I was hoping to at least match the most recent data points. Apparently such will not be the case.
