Yeah, I think it might be better not to tap at the nest when I already have some honey.

Just consider work a federal building and don't CCW there.

You don't need a CCW to carry on private property with the owners permission...

Laws and rules are two different animals. Even though there may be no crime, they could see it as me breaking their rules and pull my permit.

Does anybody have any statistics yet on what percentage of applications are approved or denied?

Earlier this year, I've read that Sacramento County is right about 93-95% approval rate.

It would be interesting to see what is in the 5-7% that don't get approved. I would guess either prohibited, or they explained to much "good cause". Of course they could have just flubbed the interview by showing up drunk or high or such. I would think that would kill them in the "good moral charater" department.

It took 3 months and 4 days from the first interview until my permit was in my hand. It seemed like a long, slow process but it is now complete. At least the first leg of the journey. I hope all who have gotten their permit continue to be passionate and keep giving voice supporting our rights. For my brothers and sisters who have not yet gotten started on the process, do it now. For yourself, your family and all the law abiding, liberty loving people. The fight is not over until we all have our rights, not just a few of us.

The denials I've seen had colorful pasts. However, every well put together appeal (hire a lawyer) has succeeded.

It is finally worthwhile to live in this county.

I went in for my final appointment last Tuesday. I received my CCW license in the mail today! 1 week turnaround! Nice.
