This is not intended to insult you, hopefully this will give you pause to reflect, search your soul and make sure this great responsibility is truly right for you.
I answered no on the paperwork, he got to the question and asked me if I served in the military, I told him yes. He then changed my answer on the paperwork.

I went back and looked at all the recent Livescan timelines. They had been 60+ days for a while, but the last few were 55 days exactly. I wa hoping to at least match the most recent data points. Apparently such will not be the case.
Nothing yet but the week just started. I just went back and looked at the dates and they email out LiveScan results every day of the week.

You're right. The last few were Mondays, but going back I see Thursdays and Fridays as well.

I used John Taylor in Lincoln. I recommend him. He's under the besthandguntraining.com.

I'll be taking my ccw class with him on the 29th of this month. I look forward to it.

                          Wesley Lagomarsino of LFI. http://www.LFIguns.com
Taken training from him 3 times. Excellent! Tons of experience, Ex-LEO, IDPA competitive shooter. Go to his website to see his Cert's and qualifications. He not only gives you the classroom requirements, but covers the legal aspects extremely well. And he provides a lot of anecdotal examples. Works very well with you if you're having trouble during your weapon qual portion since it a different environment to first-timers. And no I am not a paid shill for him.
Best of luck and glad to see another good guy coming onboard.

You'll enjoy it. I had myself, my supervisor and 3 close friends take his class and all of them including myself have nothing but great things to say about him.

Greetings! Let's hope that the third time's a charm!

I had my first Livescan 10/17/2014 . . . after a couple phone calls over a couple months to see what the hold up was, finally found out that through no fault of my own (poor fingerprints), I was a reject. My paperwork was laying around, doing nothing. Soooo, had my second Livescan 03/19/2015
Today, 05/14/2015, Livescan for the THIRD time! Same issue, I guess. The last reject letter was dated May 5.

THIS time I went to the Kilgore station. Was fingerprinted there years ago with no problem.

I think my initial interview was 9/11/2014. At this rate, I'll end up celebrating an anniversary of some kind!

                              <<sigh>>

Well, looks like this wasn't our week. Is Tuesday too soon to send an email asking if they had trouble with the fingerprints (like NDkid did)? Tuesday will be Day 63.
