Well, I'm at 47 days, still waiting on Live Scan approval. Based on recent experience it looks like it'll either be tomorrow (less likely) or next Monday (more likely---that would be 55 days).

Every once in a while that happens for some unknown reason. Just lucky I guess. Lol!

So I have had my permit for about 9 months and this might be a stupid question but I have a person who is willing to part with their glock 42. Will I be able to acquire it via ppt and will SSD allow it on my permit. From what I have heard they will allow off roster firearms on your permit as long as they are legally registered to you.

Non of my three are on roster, and one of them is the GLOCK 42.

Congrats on the approval! Your timeline is not bad at all. I am in Placer County and currently waiting for my livescan results to come back! Waiting is the hardest part...

Thank you. At least permit isn't huge as Sac County. Hurts me to do this but yep. I folded mine in half. I don't carry a wallet just a wallet clamp with a card holder:

Kahr P380 in a Desantis pocket holster right now/summertime. The rest of the time will be my Shield 9 off roster or G19 Gen 4. Their on my permit just need find some holsters for them.

Nice! Not sure how you plan on carrying when you switch from pocket. I will carry appendix. I ordered my holsters from Liion Defense. I have the xKip and the AIWB holster. Love both of them! I have a g23 and g27. Hoping to get my hands on a g43 for my 3rd carry option.
