Thanks Calguns. Lurked and saw a post a couple weeks ago about appointments available, and got in right then.
Just joined a few days ago, and will keep this post wupdate with timeframe.
Now, to research pistols, as I don't currently own one.....
Welcome! It took me exactly one week from initial interview until I received the conditional approval pending livescan. Like your wife, I have nothing on my record. I hope you two are able to fly through like I did!
It was just an old plywood boat, with a '75 Johnson, with electric choke. A young boy, two hands on the wheel, I can't replace the way it made me feel.

I must have a few flags then because my interview was 2/24/16 and still waiting for my approval/deny. Next Wednesday will be my third week. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Hope everyone's initials are going through.

I'm just waiting for a mod appointment...

Pro tip: if you think there's ANY chande you'll want to modify after your issuance appointment, buy the gun and qualify BEFORE your issuance to get it added without hassle.

man, i am getting antsy for my fbi/doj approval to come through. its been 65 days since i submitted the livescan. i have all of my paperwork in order. i just need them to say "come on down" and im done! i hate that feeling when you've completed all requirements for something and then you have to wait for the gears of bureaucracy to slowly turn.

After you get the approval you will still be waiting for an issuance appointment.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe the 60 day "re-do" policy applies after each step you take. If you don't get a livescan within 60 days of receiving your conditional approval, etc. The livescan wait is out of our hands. You adhered to all stipulations. I don't think you need to worry as there are many member's that are over a 60 day wait period since initial interview.

I was in the same place as you. Took 95 days for mine to come in. Worst part was the hotline never updated and showed me as pending all the way until I got my email saying I could set my issue appointment.

hahaha i went from calling the hotline everyday, to once a week and now i call it maybe once every few weeks. that terrible voice recognition software makes me angry. i probably wont check again for a few weeks. until then, ive been carrying a blue gun in my holster to get used to carrying everyday (lame, i know but its all i got until i get my little piece of paper)
