Thanks @Doheny for the response. Looks like livescans are coming back faster than the 3-4 months as my wife and 2 brothers all have confirmed that their livescans are back as well. OCSD did confirm for one of my brother that his livescan came back within the month of March when we all went to get it done on March 10th. With that said, I'll be picking up my permit next week. New timeline below for reference.

Anyone know when OCSD will switch to online applications for new & renewals?Comment

Figured I would add my renewal experience to the mix. I was due to expire next month (June) and started by sending my renewal in January. About a week after I got an email from an investigator asking for additional supporting documents for my GC. I sent them in a few days later and then radio silence for almost 2 months. Finally get an email from the investigator saying that she never received my supporting docs and did I want to proceed, otherwise my application would be closed. Of course I went into a panic because I had sent them in. As I think I read here somewhere, my email was too large (there was approximately 10MB of attachments) so it just went into some black hole without giving any notification. I was able to work it out and about a week later I got my conditional approval (early March) pending completion of training. Completed and sent that in about 2 weeks later (late March) and finally this past week got my pickup date for early June (3 days before expiry). So it took a long time, but just glad to be getting my 2 more years! I am guessing if my expiry was earlier they may have moved a little quicker on it, but just my thoughts.
TL/DR: Took almost 6 months. Send email attachments separate as large emails fail without notification. Be patient.Comment
