Does anyone know if LiveScans are taking longer now than they were middle of last year? I'm sitting at 23 weeks right now and both CA DOJ and FBI are "in process" still.

Mine took over 5 months and that was last August. I wouldn't be surprised if it's taking 6 months right now. Plus, it takes another month for OCSD to email you with conditional approval once they get the livescan results back from DOJ.

Yeah, I remember when we were complaining about three months. It's at least 4-5 now.

Mine took a month and a half. Although I missed my first appointment to pick up because the email went to my spam folder somehow. Be sure to check your spam folder.

It still depends on the livescan. I Livescanned about one mounts before you did. My Livescan results came in in early December. I was notified for final appointment in middle of January.

I would assume you are pretty close, should hear something soon, and I would guess your final appointment should be in the next 2-3 weeks.

Did they tell you that Livescan has been completed by the State? Conditional approval just means that your good cause and application has been generally approved. My conditional approval was in September.

I'd give them another week or two. The next step is you'll be given an appointment to come pick it up

Im in the same boat, All my documents have been received (LiveScan, Cert) along with approval from the LT. Just waiting on the appointment email for pick up. They are pretty busy and backed up, been waiting for a little over a month since LiveScan was returned.

No problem, just hope the appointment pick up email doesn't go to my spam mail.

timeline update

My renewal timeline.

Aug 25 renewal app and docs emailed in, immediate reply of "received Thank you"

Late October I inquired about how long training certs are good for and was told 6 months but to wait for the approval or go ahead and get he training done email.

Jan 5th went ahead and did the renewal training just because, email it in and
got the "received, Thank you email on the 6th.

No info received between any of those email dates.

I expired on the 5th of January. Hard to be patient but I know they are busy.

Jan 26th was told by my Investigator that he just submitted my renewal.
Anyone knows what that means? or whats left in the process?

Means your file is submitted to the LT for review and signature... If all goes well, you should be getting a follow up email with the pickup appointment date.
