Do not do that. As you've seen in this thread, there is no rhyme or reason to the order in which people are called/emailed. You will get the email. I would do your training now so you have it done and can send when you get it

Yeah I know, I was just letting my patience get the better of me. I went back to not caring anymore. Eventually I'll hear back from them. I did my training already so it's ready to go. It's true that this process is all over the place.

Look at the bright side (god I hate saying that about a right we should all be born into) but with SB2 being law by next year at least we avoided the higher cost, the longer training, just won't be able to use this license after that. We will have less than a year to exercise our 2A rights only to have it yanked away from us again. Wait where is the bright side to this? Dammit

And...they will wind up in court too...just like new york .. Illinois...new Jersey ..rhode island....the lawyers are going to have field day if it passes...I'm carrying...I'll be damned if anyone even tries to discourage me from doing that..

Damn bro I've only heard of 1 other guy with this issue and it's because they literally misplaced his application. I forgot what he ended doing can't remember if he emailed them or sent in another application. Did they cash your money order? That's some BS.

My Co worker had his application lost and he finally received his interview after he sent a email. He was instructed to bring a new set of application forms to the interview. He had training and live scan was already done. He received his permit around 5 weeks after the interview.

So just checked the LASD site for the first time in a while and looks like they updated it, and it says their CCW policy is under review. Think this is because of SB 2?

I checked.. it looks the same as it did last year after Bruen decision.. The policy is under review pertains to that.

I'm not too worried about SB2.. because as soon as it's passed (it 100% will), there will be lawsuits.. and they will lose... Supreme court will slap it back down like it's doing to New Jersey and NY with similar new laws.

Last I checked the most recent update was the august 1st update, and no changing firearms to get through the huge number of apps
