You and I are the same. I interviewed on 10/07/22. I followed up with them on 12/01. BS, email, almost at 4 months now. On the second email, did they send the same email to you? That your file and live scan has to be reviewed. How can they not review a simple live scan and file under 60 days. Joke. Good luck.

Just got a phone call today (February 1) from LAPD that the Chief of Police approved my CCW. Meanwhile, I haven't heard anything from LASD from my application submitted in July 2022.

This might gain some traction ..how much we don't know, but we must take into account this bill was purposed AFTER Bruen.... before Bruen, there were states that would not issue or highly restricted...we already know what those states are or were..now that's all changed... especially here in Los Angeles County..even under trump...the restrictions were still place...before repricosity could take effect...Bruen had to be done first to put the restricted states in check with the rest of the nation...now since that's now accomplished.. repricosity now has an actual chance of being a reality...we now shall see.

I have a question for my fellow calgunners. My livescans cleared on Nov 16th my wife's on the 15th, she received her proceed to training email last Friday our interview were a week apart I had mine first. Both back in early to mid November. I've been thinking about emailing the ccw unit and mentioning CA PC 26205 which states they have 30 days after background check is completed by the doj to inform me of approval or denial and be sent my proceed to training email. Anyone ever send an email and include this penal code with luck of getting their application processed any quicker?
