Interview isnt when they need your training. Approval is. And I would expect that to be 2-3 months after your interview...

Ccw unit told me to present it to my interviewing deputy if I have it. Im not worried

Hey fellas first time posting. I sent my app in on 5/20/21, cashier’s check was cashed, but I’ve received no communication from LASD. Anyone else have a similar experience, good or bad?

If you read through the thread, the process is all over the place. They just started to call May apps for interview. Not trying to be rude but please read through the last 100 or so pages and you will know what is happening with the process and so forth.

If you submitted 9/9, I wouldn't hold my breath for the end of the month. There are guys who submitted in May who haven't got the call yet. Good luck.

Ya bro this is like me saying I'm fat now, but hopefully I will be ripped by the end of the month. It's a no lol.

However, given it looks like your process will be hitting its stride in the spring/summer, you might be well positioned to have them handle your app right after a potentially strong SCOTUS ruling in June. That's assuming you need SCOTUS' help of course. If you have a strong red or yellow good cause, you should get a permit even if the court hangs us out to dry.

I imagine if things do go our way, LASD will be absolutely swamped with a tsunami of apps. You'd be in ahead of that at least lol.

Seriously brother, it is going to be a very long ride and it will test your patience especially when you are of more tender years.

There is a trove of knowledge from these guys around here; as long as you did your due dilligence and have read the previous posts as well as Paladin's guide, you would have a better chance of getting your application approved. Depending of course on your good cause and how you had presented it in your application.

Hang on tight, try to forget about it, hope for the best but expect the worse and hopefully by 1st quarter of next year you will get the call and the opportunity to present your GC to the deputy doing your interview.
