    Qualifying after Bruen

I've been thinking of new ways an IA could disqualify applicants.
One way it could happen is simply making firearms qualifying nearly impossible.
Imagine a requirement of hitting a 10 ring at 50 yards, 10 straight shots, off handed.
Hope I didn't just give AV any ideas.

That wouldn’t make sense. Most self defense encounters happen within 3 yards under 3 seconds. At a 50 yard engagement, you’d better have a good case for proving it was an imminent threat unless it’s an active shooter. At 50 yards, I’d probably just evade if I could. CCW should be a last resort option. Just my two cents.

That's the point. It doesn't have to.

I'm sure all here already know, but if you didn't...all CCW holders of CA had their information leaked by none other than the CA DOJ. Names, addresses, it's all there....

Per those who saw the dataset, it apparently contains mere applications as well.

          Be safe.

I applied in December, LA County, and haven’t heard anything yet. Any insight into whether this is the norm or not, in terms of time that passes from your application to the phone call, would be much appreciated.

This is within the reported wait times. I believe They are currently calling August/September applications.

I might be too paranoid but does LASD interview neighbors?

@m1abob are you 100% certain on this, even for LA CCW? I submitted app last year with one firearm listed, have interview in July + doing training and quals in a couple of weeks to try to fast track.

I'd like to add another firearm to my application and want to know for sure that I can do so at this stage in the process (post application/pre interview+training/qualification).

                          Thanks
