While I am not in Cali anymore, my 2 friends that are having been awaiting their Livescan to finish. One is at 9 weeks, the other is at 10 weeks, and both applied over a year ago. Neither have ever been arrested, one has never received a citation. I have a feeling the Livescan is really slowing people down.
Even if their Livescan finishes in the next few weeks, they still have a 3 month wait for the approval for training, then a wait for issuance, if they get that far.
I have a feeling both will be at 18 plus months from start to finish. The sad part is I see folks who applied over a month after them have already been issued over a month ago.

Wow, just got my Az ccw. Took about 1 week from when I mailed in app

On the application form it asks for other CCW you have and when issued. Do they want the issued date of current card (the last time I renewed), or when you were originally issued? I have Utah, Oregon and Arizona.

they dont care about dates, they just want to know what you have already.

Also with only one opponent and all the antis unified behind them, will AV be able to win? (assuming vote percentages stay the same)

Picked up my permit today. I was only there for about 45 minutes or so and there were about 7-8 people that got called before me. They were all there picking up their permits. There were a couple others that may have been there for their interviews, but couldn't really tell.

Looks like some folks are receiving their AZ CCW permits in a week of submitting their apps. I haven’t heard anything in more than 3 weeks.

I would drop the CCW unit a polite email with something like you haven't heard from them in a while, just checking to see if they need any additional information/documents.

I got my proceed-to-training email 10 weeks after firearms cleared. That was back in April.
