QUESTION for members who were previously denied but then called back suggesting they reapply: Did any of you use only Green GCs?

QUESTION: Has anyone applied using only Green GCs and been denied or told to proceed to LiveScan?

I am hearing that obtaining a CCW in LA County is now a real possibility. I am not aware of any changes, same sheriff and all. I am trying to verify the source and will post more when I have reliable information.
Meanwhile has anyone else heard anything similar?

You're I'm not on much and when I popped on the thread showed 2019 as the last post. My fault. I read thru and confirmed what I heard from a a LEO who works security at our church. My background is spotless but trying to find out the GC requirements so I don't waste time.

Hey guys I'm new here, I tried to find answers but didn't find any :
For the application, we can just fill everything out without having a witness, correct? since it would be very ironic to have a witness and have them give us the option for mailing it in.

On that note, I'll be sending my application in with some green causes, and let you know any updates. oh and lastly, will a reply from the LASD be the same timeline regardless of result? I'm anxious now lol.

yeah I was just confused at first because there were some contradictory things in there. Anyways, I went ahead and submitted with some green gc, will update if I even get entertained with an interview
