Application sent in on May, check cashed in June. Nothing at all yet - emailed them twice and both times said they still working through the queue...

I'm curious about the request for the letter from your employer. What information were they requesting? Was it merely confirmation of your employment, verification of you job duties and the risks involved, acknowledgement of permission to carry at work, other?

What does the denial letter say to do in case of a major change in circumstances? Are you asked to start from scratch with a new application or contact them with new information to "revive" your previous application.?

Same thing with me. She took my paystub and employer letter. In the letter she wanted to see that I transport equipment. I just asked HR to give me a letter stating my duties and that i transport equipment to and from our employees homes (we've been working from home for 2 years now). It all depends on what you put as you GC but they will tell you what they're looking for when scheduling your interview (at least that was the process for me).

Confirmation of employment and the specific aspects of it that I claimed gave me additional risk. Nothing about permission to carry at work.

You can read the letter on my signature (it's a link on word "Denied")

Basically I was told by the Lt. that I could re-apply in 1 year. When I called CCW unit to clarify, I was told that it's 1 year from denial. However, in a letter is says that if my circumstances change, I may submit a new application (without stating a time limit)

I'm just guessing here, but if SCOTUS throws out GC requirements in the next few months, I think everybody who has been denied for lack of GC, regardless of the timing, has had a significant change in circumstances and will be able to re-apply. AV could probably be sued otherwise.

Well right now it looks like it's about 6-7 months until you're called for an interview. Another 3 months after interview to get a proceed with training email. Another 1 month after training docs are submitted before you get a permit pickup call and you pick up in another 2-3 weeks. Average time is 9-10 months after application is mailed.
