Not carrying yet as I am still waiting to receive my belt & holster. Didn't anticipate picking up so quickly at the end so I wasn't prepared. Should have ordered them sooner and carry inside home to get used to it.

Thank you in advance and good luck to all of you for the rest of your journeys.

        Hey Sergeantc,

I did sign up with USCCA back in October of 2021 when I did my firearms training as the insurance is not only for carrying but home defense as well. But with the policy change with USCCA, I will look into other carriers when the policy ends in October this year.

Apply with Arizona, Utah and Florida...don't bother with Nevada..since Arizona and Utah covers Nevada...go for all three..your live California firearms training certificate and qualification sheet covers the live fire training requirements in Arizona, Utah and Florida...just fill out the application..fill out the finger print cards and pay the state fees..you don't have to take anymore training classes. All 3 are very easy to apply for too ..

          Congratulations on getting your permit!

I did my Florida app online and uploaded all the docs easily, then it asked for fingerprint cards, so now need to find a LE agency that still does it. (Santa Clarita no longer does) So make sure to get enough cards done for each State you are applying to.

I believe there were 3 of us that I saw on here who did our Live Scan on March 9 and we all cleared Firearms on May 18. Yours should be done soon. Hopefully we get the proceed to training e-mail sooner rather than later.

UT requires a BCI approved instructor to sign you off, unlike FL an AZ, which will accept your CA CCW training.

AZ is the easiest of the 3 (does not require prints rolled by LEA).

Good info to know....I applied for Utah several years ago ..and forgot that..you had to apply with a Utah certified instructor..so Arizona first, Florida second, Utah third.
