The renewal date is the 2 year anniversary of the original pickup date.
According to the issuing deputy, you should submit your renewal app 3 months prior to the expiration date.

Is it normal if my Live Scan is still not showing up on https://applicantstatus.doj.ca.gov/? It's been over a month.

Mine NEVER showed up in the DOJ website. Still issued about 8 weeks after my livescan. Just another way to test your patience during the process ;-)

Call and/or email to re-sked. It is not just common sense, it rather a public health issue and common courtesy; even if you are asymptomatic. I hope you are indeed asymptomatic. This bug is scary stuff brother.

wow this is so weird.. I'm really thinking about just going there and see if they'll speak with me. worst case scenario they tell me to go home.. Waist of gas money,, or they talk to me and we get down to the bottom of it.

Baffles me how I submitted 4/22 and interviewed few weeks before you, had livescan already completed before interview and still waiting for any type of contact. Why is this not done in order

I agree specially realtors. we sit in a home all alone while strangers off the street are walking in and out with valuables in the home..

I doubt it will be that long. I think I read somewhere that the livescan we submitted will continue to report any new incidents to LASD so when time comes for renewal backgrounds should be faster as they would have the latest background data. Plus if they get permitium up and running it should streamline the whole process assuming that's the package they are moving towards.

Got the reply today.
"Your interview has been canceled. You will be contacted to reschedule when your investigator has availability."
I think it means a long wait, right?
