"Guys with Domestic violence arrests in the last 5 years, drugs convictions, messing with the devil's lettuce in the last six months" "We need more idiots like you that don't do anything but sit on CGN with a keyboard in your lap. Not even a speeding ticket"

He gave me the form at the end and told me to do it right away.

Ya, same with me. While I don't think not getting the go-ahead to do a livescan at the interview is a guaranteed denial (maybe they'll look into their concerns and decide it's no big deal), it's definitely not a good sign in my opinion. At minimum, it means they have significant reservations about your application such that they don't want you wasting your $100 until they investigate further.

Could be. Hard to say. I think a lot of it has to do with the deputy your draw, how comfortable you are in the interview, and how it goes in general. From reading the comments here about the different interviews, it seems clear that each deputy does it slightly differently and may have a different process for the apps they kick upstairs. Who knows: just reading the tea leaves.

I encourage you guys to monitor all LASD and AV social media starting Wed the 30th through Thursday July 8th to see if LASD or AV make any announcement about liberalizing further acceptable CCW GC.

Still no call for interview… I went ahead and completed livescan last month and training (MedicUp, highly recommend!) this last weekend.

Any other ~04/19’s get calls yet?

There was one guy months back that did not get the live scan go ahead and was told to wait 4-6 for a decision. He never reported back whether he got denied or not but he also didn’t report that he got his permit. Fairly certain he got denied since I saw him list a gun for sale saying he was selling because he bought it for CCW but no longer needed it. From his post he suspected it had to do with his GMC. Some incident when he was a juvenile. He didn’t elaborate.
