If I didn't already have an 1894cs in .357 I'd have to consider that!!

It does shoot well and I am the weak link in its accuracy!!

I yam! We call these "cargo" trailers. I think of a utility trailer as open trailer for a few bags of mulch and a riding mower...

And for those sub-40* nights and early mornin's I have a Webasto 2000 diesel heater. Clean, dry heat. And too much of it. Might have to rig a blow-off valve. Hahaha...

I bought a plain-jane .22m one a while ago off of GB for $800 delivered, that needed a new butt-stock and required considerable cleaning to make it presentable. Even at that I thought it was a decent deal (although now it is exhibiting extraction problems ). I don't know about $1,600 though...... I've seen a minty XTR version sitting on a dealer's table for the last three gun shows and it hasn't moved yet. I tossed him what I thought was a reasonable offer, but he's holding fast at $1700.

I have a pair of the XTR's in .22, and I wouldn't take less than $900 for either of them.

You don't happen to need a nice hunting rifle in 6.5CM, do you?

bossman, didn't you post some info after you bought it then some pictures after you finished it? If I recall it was worth well over $1600.00

Yes, I did post before and after pictures. Special deal, just for you. If you want it you can have it for a friend's and family price of a paltry $1,200.

Seriously though, if someone wanted to pay me $1,600 for it I would sell it in a heartbeat. Got to figure out the pesky extraction issue though. I've been traveling a lot for work and haven't had a chance to look into it in detail.

I have looked on GB and the ones I find in similar condition are going from $1300 on up with some going for over $1600. Are those fair prices in today's market?

ETA: I also looked in the marketplace but the last ones sold were at least a couple years ago.
I suppose this is a pretty dangerous thing to ask but could you post a picture or two?

In lieu of those, straight stock or pistol grip? Checkered?

Well...... I'm sorta disinclined to trade, but shoot me a PM and let me know what you propose. Like I said, the rifle has extraction issues at present. I haven't pulled it apart so I don't know if it is just a dirty chamber, or something a little more serious.

Yes, the checkered ones with glossy finished stocks are the XTR model, and fetch more than the plain walnut "classic" ones. And of course - since these are desirable and collectable, condition is everything if you want to get close the high range on resale.
