A 10mm 1894 would move to the top of the list for me. Lots of stuff on YouTube comparing the 10mm to the .357 mag.. I watched a video the other day, 44mag vs 10mm.

The 10mm is rimless, but they made the Marlin 336 in .35 Remington so they could make that work, though I doubt the demand is really there.

Good question on the crimp issue with a tubular magazine. That might be an issue.

Got that covered. I'm just looking for another lever for a caliber that I already have... Pig hunting with a 10mm lever gun has some appeal to me.

Don't know, but RPP and Grizzly were apparently converting existing guns. The cost was just too high. That's why we need them to be built as new ones on a production line.

Mark, I believe we need to bring our 1911's to the next outing, along with some lever guns of course. I'll bring my S.A. mil-spec, 30-30 and 39A. Sound about right?

Hey Chris, what 1911 do you carry when we're out in the Mojave?

I always have on my hip a Kimber Ultra CDP II, but will remove it from a Yaqui Slide holster made by Alfonso of Hollywood and replace it with either one of my Springfield Loaded pistols; a Parkerized or MC Operator when range shooting.

The Kimber is a 3" .45 compact (think Colt Officers size) with an aluminum frame. It's a pistol that I'll run a few magazines through for function check two or three times a year and to put some fresh hollerpoint ammo in it. A pistol that should be carried much but not often shot as much as an all-steel 1911. Or so they say.
